My name is Sarah and, in 2023, I started Primary Path Tuition. I began my teaching journey over ten years ago when I qualified as a primary school teacher in the North East of England. I went on to work in several schools where I led many subjects including English.

During that time, I had the opportunity to write several curriculums for reading, writing, spelling and maths for the schools I worked in and external companies. I specialised in KS2 (mainly years 5 and 6) and am currently a senior, specialist marker for the KS2 SATs. In addition to this, I am also a very experienced 7+, 8+ and 11+ tutor, helping students to excel in preparation for entry into an independent school.

Primary Path began as a way to help children who needed extra support outside of school and has grown from there. I now not only use my expertise to help primary school children reach and exceed their goals, but I also specialise in ESL (tutoring over 50 students from around the world to enhance their English skills or learn them from scratch).

Teaching is my passion and I am incredibly lucky to do this job. My goal is to give every student the chance to succeed through patience, understanding and high quality teaching.

Arina

Arina started learning with me in 2023 and has made incredible progress since then. She can now hold a conversation about lots of different topics, pronounce all of the sounds in the English language, read stories and write in full sentences.

"My goal was to ensure that Arina could speak English from childhood so she was fluent by the time she is an adult. After 6 months, she is now able to understand and communicate with Sarah, her pronunciation is excellent, her vocabulary has increased and she has mastered some grammatical constructs. Her favourite thing about lessons is being able to communicate properly with Sarah."
